What the heck? So apparently LCD Soundsystem played their final ever show the other day. What’s going on? They were on such a roll with 3 great great great albums. This isn’t making any sense to me at all. It’s like the White Stripes the other day called it quits too. I would rather they all just went along with it whether they are active or not and didn’t say anything. I mean “broken up” and “final show” don’t really mean anything anyway right? Can you tell me one band who has played a “final show” and stuck to it? The only one I can think of is Ziggy Stardust and that doesn’t even count. Is there a reason for wanting to put a semi definite end to your band? Is it just so people won’t bug you to release another album anytime soon? Surely they will just pester you about your next project either way. Damn I wish I was at that last show. I would have danced my little butt off. I’m having flash backs of driving at night with Movement playing as loud as possible. I just can’t accept the fact it’s done with. I mean, wasn’t the whole thing pretty much just James whzeesface anyway? So it’s just the name “LCD Soundsystem” he won’t use anymore? Whatever, I’m more concerned about the White Stripes.
