Some movies have good soundtracks. Others have crap soundtracks. But I can only think of one movie that has 3 “HOLY CRAP THIS IS GREAT” soundtracks! (OK maybe one is for a computer game but that doesn’t matter.)
The typical Scott Pilgrim soundtrack has awesome indie stuff with original Beck songs and is totally playable front to back. Then you’ve got the original score created by the one and only Nigel Godrich (if you don’t know who he is, shame on you). Completing the triforce is another original score created for the Battletoads style video game composed by New Yorkers Anamanaguchi. I had never heard of them (shame on me).
